Message to our clients on COVID 19

March 17, 2020

A message to our clients:

Krehbiel Law Office has implemented virus protection precautions to help assure the safety of our clients and staff and will do our part to limit the community spread of the virus by following our own safety protocol as well as the government's requirements and guidance as it applies to our office.

We also plan to be able to continue to provide quality legal services during this time. We will not be fully staffed during the current state of emergency, but it is our present plan that somebody will be in the office every day.

We have set up ways that we can stay connected even if working from home, so whether anybody is physically in the office or not, we plan to be available to clients as much as we can by telephone and email. However, for everyone's protection, even if somebody is working in the office, in-person appointments and walk-ins will be severely restricted.

There are many ways that we can communicate and exchange documents during the time period that in-person contact is restricted. We would invite you to consider staying in touch with us in one or more of these ways:

  • Information and documents can be emailed to the office staff at [email protected] or to Laura directly at [email protected]. You can also contact the office by email through our website,
  • Documents can be faxed to the office at (319) 835-9054.
  • Documents can be slipped through the mail slot in the office door.
  • Telephone messages can be left on the office answering machine by calling (319) 835-9126 (landline) and leaving a message including your name and phone number. This answering machine will be monitored regularly, so if you call and nobody answers please choose to leave your message on the machine. We will return all calls as we are able.

Please bear with us! We promise that we will continue to work for you, even if we can't meet with you!

- Laura Krehbiel and staff
